The outbreak is spreading and every faction wants the island. Hold it one hex at a time — pay your forces, or lose them to the goo.

How to play.
You are orange. Joined-up hexes of one colour make a territory. Any territory of two or more hexes has an HQ that holds its savings.
Every hex earns 1 a turn. Hexes under the goo earn nothing, and the goo creeps onto clean ground next to it.
Tap a territory, then recruit a civilian (10) or build an encampment (15). An orange tag on an HQ means it has enough to spend. Recruit again while holding a civilian to upgrade it before you place it.
Units move anywhere inside their own territory for free. Moving onto goo clears it, but that’s their move for the turn.
To take a neighbouring hex, move in a unit stronger than whatever guards it. Units, HQs (1) and encampments (2) guard their own hex and every hex next to it.
Drop one unit onto another to merge them. Strengths add up, to a fighter jet at most.
Wages come out at the start of every turn. If a territory can’t pay, its whole force is lost to the outbreak, and the goo takes root where they stood.
Cut a territory in two and each half fends for itself. Take its HQ and the savings are gone. Knock every rival off the island to win.
